After the illegal detentions carried out by the defense and security forces of Angola-FDSA, a group of ex-military personnel from the Liberation Front of the Enclave de Cabinda – FLEC in the town of Yabi in the municipality of Cabinda.
Arrested for having tried to hold a meeting, with the main objective of analyzing how they could complain to the Angolan authorities that 14 years later they refrain from fully complying with the agreements signed with Bento Bembe. It was also found that the detainees planned to hold a Mega Demonstration to demand the fulfillment of their rights.
As a result of these arrests, many ex-Flec soldiers, family, friends and people in general went today “21.07.20” at the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Service (aka SIC at Nissan) to demand the release of the group of ex-soldiers FLEC detainees there.
It was heard loud and clear from the people of Cabinda who flowed it to the city center :
OR RELEASE OUR BROTHERS !
OR ALL THEY HOLD US !
OR KILL US ALL !
With the arrival of the defense and security forces of Angola “FDSA” in the place, panic started and the riots started. At this very moment, there is a persecution of the Cabindenses that demonstrated at the headquarters of SIC, and the FDSA also surrounded the points of entry and exit from the center of Tchiowa.
